摘要: Light emission and electrical signals of partial discharge (PD) events in artificially introduced defects insulating medium, namely polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), silicone polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) have been examined. Internal discharges a micro void external on insulator surface created using two specific experimental setups, which allow for observation single discharges. The light pulses from were registered by photomultiplier. images acquired an iCCD cameras with double stage amplification. Electrical measured wideband probes. Two model arrangements developed applied. Results optical measurements are compared conventional phase resolved (PRPD) patterns. There exist different correlation modes between intensity value current, can be ascribed to type PD origins. comparison shows good both detection methods. Analysis obtained patterns dependence used material electrode polarity is presented. It shown that proper diagnostic devices carry similar information as PRPD diagrams. results investigations development new diagnostics.
