摘要: Correlations between ambient pollutants and health effects, such as observed in SIDS, may reality be to a larger extent the result of indoor sources. These distinctions outdoor sources, while important, do not detract from overall conclusion that pollution affects airway children directly indirectly. Much still needs learned about permanence these mechanism by which effect is mediated, conditions under some effects are maximal. Two approaches seem particularly suited shed further light on issues. First, identification biological markers for exposure will yield both more accurate measures information consequences [58]. Second, newer modeling techniques promise predict outcomes variety environmental conditions. Shumway et al., instance, describe promising model predicting an increase mortality due Los Angeles Basin with higher levels extremes temperature, especially during cold spells [59]. Time series factor analyses our knowledge well [60]. In near future, large cohort studies should begin reveal cumulative air respiratory system, relation active smoking. Finally, Black virtually unavailable. Given their high risk illnesses, sorely needed.
