摘要: The Golden Mile at Kalgoorlie represents a giant Archean hydrothermal gold system localized by ductile shear zones and hosted mainly differentiated tholeiitic sill. Chlorite, carbonate, pyrite alteration cover the whole mineralized area (1 km × 3 km), calculations suggest that for (production around 1200 t Au), amounts of components added to these are 340 Mt CO2, 20 Mt K, 5 Mt S. If one adopts metamorphic-replacement model mineralization in which all ore derive from devolatilization greenstones amphibolite facies or above, data source involving 5 km thick greenstone slab 8 km × 8 km could produce necessary S, H2O, Au.
