摘要: Neurotoxins include, in the most general sense, all molecules that destroy or inhibit proper functioning of nervous system. from animals and plants include alkaloids peptides, many which interact with physiological processes a selective manner. The majority neurotoxins disrupt transmission signals system by interfering synaptic transmission. can act presynaptically to release, uptake recycling neurotransmitters postsynaptically, binding receptors on postsynaptic membrane preventing their activation neurotransmitters. A class nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, either at neuromuscular junction, peripherally neuronal ganglia centrally, produce neurotoxic effects.
