摘要: Large epidemiological studies have helped define differences in majority and minority population health risks outcomes. The National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) observed African-American, Mexican American, white non-Hispanic women from 1988 to 1994 found a striking prevalence of abdominal obesity metabolic syndrome both African-Americans Americans. Multi-Ethnic Study Atherosclerosis (MESA) was designed study the progression sub-clinical CVD multiple ethnicities including whites. rate awareness as leading cause death has nearly doubled among since 1997. Awareness heart disease is independently correlated with increased physical activity weight loss. NHANES shows that obesity, which can be associated insulin resistance, highest black women.
