摘要: Abstract The oestrous cycle in cattle lasts for 18–24 days. It consists of a luteal phase (14–18 days) and follicular (4–6 days). During the there are generally two (dairy cows) or three (heifers beef waves ovarian follicle growth. Each wave growth period emergence cohort follicles, selection dominant either atresia ovulation follicle. These growth, initially established during early pre-pubertal development occur throughout entire cycle, with only (DF) final coinciding that undergoes maturation ovulation. Ovarian functions (follicle ovulation, luteinisation luteolysis) regulated by endocrine hormones hypothalamus (gonadotrophin-releasing hormone), anterior pituitary (follicle-stimulating hormone luteinising ovaries (progesterone, oestradiol inhibins) uterus (prostaglandin F2α). In postpartum cows resumption regular cycles (in addition to uterine involution) is fundamental re-establishment pregnancy.
