Protonic conduction in Ca2+-doped La2M2O7 (M = Ce, Zr) with its application to ammonia synthesis electrochemically

摘要: Complex oxides La{sub 1.95}Ca{sub 0.05}M{sub 2}O{sub 7-{delta}} (M = Ce, Zr) were prepared by sol-gel method and characterized thermal analysis (TG-DTA), X-ray diffraction (XRD). On the sintered complex as solid electrolyte, conductivity was measured in various atmospheres, ammonia synthesized from nitrogen hydrogen at atmospheric pressure states proton conducting cell reactor electrochemical methods. The rates of formation up to 2.0 x 10{sup -9} mol s{sup -1} cm{sup -2} for 0.05}Zr{sub 1.3 0.05}Ce{sub 7-{delta}}, respectively, 520 deg. C.
