摘要: Abstract Objective The goal of this study was to assess the barriers gynecologic care for adolescents with disability in state. Design Providers Utah were surveyed existing conditions, attitudes, and comfort levels regarding population. Results survey completed by 136 clinicians (50% return rate). level among providing gynecological disabled relatively low, even routine screening. Respondents identified following as care: time, reimbursement, inadequate knowledge, disability-related issues (office access preference not serve population). Suggested solutions included: continuing education programs, consultation practices on serving both youth individuals disability, better billing mechanisms. Conclusion While many are comfortable a substantial number not. perceive population, though appear modifiable. Potential interventions which should be tested their effectiveness improving quality underserved
