摘要: The chemical compositions of seeds and the physicochemical characteristics oils extracted from them have been investigated for six varieties mango (Mangifera indica) five other tropical seeds. oil contents Mangifera indica were in range 12·2–25·8%, while those as high 54·7% Bridelia ferruginea. Characterization showed that they non-drying, except Petters-Ibadan which was semi-drying. Of seeds, Monodora myristica gave a drying oil, Crysophilum abidum ferruginea semi-drying oils, Canarium schweinfurthii Khaya senegalensis non-drying oils. suggest may be suitable animal feeds.
