摘要: Within Rosa section Caninae (dogroses) two different growth types exist, arching (L-type) and erect (D-type). Due to the specific mode of chromosome allocation during meiosis, character inheritance in dogroses is maternally skewed. In this paper we try assess ‘growth form’ reciprocal hybrids R. canina L. rubiginosa predict possible ecological niches radiation processes hybridogenic offspring. A quantitative analysis mechanical properties indicates that neither an expected parentally skewed nor intermediate habit was expressed by hybrids, but a dominant L-type as canina, regardless parental relationship (pollen-parent or seed-parent). Our results implicate scenarios be further tested: (a) acts species with allele for form character. If so, would first evidence Mendelian dogroses. (b) ‘Growth not character, syndrom which realises emergent functional property underlying phenotypic structural differences stem wood anatomy.
