Novel topological alternatives to the design of a harmonic-free, utility/DC interface

摘要: Circuit designs previously proposed for utility/DC power conditioning interfaces that draw a harmonic-free, unity factor ac current have, the most part, followed certain topological approach. This paper discusses several alternative approaches can greatly improve interface's simplicity, performance, and cost. One suggestion involves use of dc source instead voltage source. Another concerns tuned passive filter to remove ripple from system's waveforms. Results an experimental 6 kW rectifier are included demonstrate feasibility usefulness suggested.
