摘要: Photonic slot routing (PSR) has been proposed as an approach to implement all-optical packet-switched network in a manner which is scalable and not overly complex. In PSR, packets are transmitted within basic transport unit referred photonic slot. The fixed length spans multiple wavelengths. Each routed through the single entity; thus, individual wavelengths do need be multiplexed or demultiplexed at intermediate nodes traversing. When implementing PSR mesh environment, number of significant issues must addressed. Two such fairness contention resolution. this study, we propose novel for allocating capacity on each link fair manner, investigate various approaches, buffering deflection, handling contention. We develop analytical model evaluate performance networks, validate analysis simulation. It shown that allocation can significantly reduce provide bandwidth source-destination pair.
