摘要: Citrulline (Cit) actions on muscle metabolism remain unclear. Those latter were investigated using a proteomic approach Tibialis muscles from male Sprague-Dawley rats. At 23 months of age, rats either fed ad libitum (AL group) or subjected to dietary restriction for 12 weeks. the end period, one group was euthanized (R and two groups refed week with standard diet supplemented nonessential amino acids Cit (CIT group). Results validated targeted Western blot analysis assessment gene expression related genes. Maximal activities key enzymes involved in mitochondrial functioning also determined. supplementation results significant increase protein main myofibrillar constituents few glycogenolysis glycolysis vs. AL R, p < 0.05). Conversely, oxidative Krebs cycle respiratory chain significantly decreased AL, However, maximal not affected, except complex 1 which presented an increased activity In conclusion, increases proteins seems induce switch energy metabolism, aerobia toward anaerobia.
