摘要: Clonal propagation of plants through tissue culture is popularly called ‘micropropagation’. In developed countries, this being done in the commercial laboratories, some which produce up to five million plantlets every year. The technique has so far been applied ornamentals and a few horticultural species, as are generally 5–10 times more expensive than seed-raised therefore, there very buyers for low economic value or forest trees from returns could be expected only after long periods. market would expand dramatically, if their selling price reduced. growth industry will, depend on technological advancements made, especially field automation mechanisation process, order reduce cost propagules.
