摘要: In this study, we analyzed the relation between mechanical and ballistic properties of several engineering ceramics that were expected to be used as armor materials. After measurements (Young's modulus, density, hardness, flexural strength toughness), measured against a long rod KE projectile (L/D=10.7, Kinetic Energy, tungsten heavy alloy) copper jet (40mm shaped charge warhead). The generally increased increasing ratio density. As HEL/density was increased, it especially appeared lineally increased.
