摘要: In this chapter, by reflecting upon the structural dimensions of previously outlined paradigm “mate choice as agency within structures” (MAS) and its core analytical elements, a Bourdieusian conceptualization mating will be developed. The purpose procedure is twofold. potential approach to processes motivated illustrating theoretical conceptual spectrum compared MAS model. At same time, well-defined traditions are used concretize Bourdieu’s somewhat sporadic unsystematic reflections on couple formation. main argument that building blocks – such preferences, utilities, strategies, chance, mate choice, dyadic exchange, markets can conceptualized functions social space. It shown tools ‘social space’, ‘habitus’, ‘practice’ enable both utilization insights model relational generalization concepts.
