摘要: Abstract Water scarcity and water pollution are important issues in the world. Therefore, reusing treated wastewater for irrigation can be a crucial approach arid semi-arid regions. There still some concerns about sustainability of irrigated agriculture. Thereby, present study is aimed to evaluate responses algal species stressors central treatment plant using modified algae index multivariate approaches assess healthy effluent quality give suggestion such kind waters, especially irrigation. Samplings were carried out twice month between October 2019 August 2020. Canonical correspondence analysis (CCA) explained 94.1% relationships environmental factors species. air temperatures, precipitation, chemical oxygen demand (COD), electrical conductivity (EC), pH, NO3 played roles temporal occurrence/succession composition plant. Ordination commonly encountered relatively near center CCA indicates their wide range tolerance levels changes conditions system. Of species, Navicula aitchelbee, Nitzschia fonticola, Euglena oxyuris preferred high EC levels; Brachysira exilis, Chlorella vulgaris, G. parvulum, C. ovata associated with COD levels, tripunctata, umbonata vulgaris related (>75% percentile). The developed indicated that had mainly organic (>3.00) summer fall seasons, when it moderate (>2.50) winter spring seasons. Results suggest algae-stressors used as an assessment tool ensure sustainable supply purpose
