摘要: The neuromatrix theory of pain proposes that is a multidimensional experience produced by characteristic "neurosignature" patterns nerve impulses generated widely distributed neural network-the "body-self neuromatrix"-in the brain. These neurosignature may be triggered sensory inputs, but they also independently them. Acute pains evoked brief noxious inputs have been meticulously investigated neuroscientists, and their transmission mechanisms are generally well understood. In contrast, chronic syndromes, which often characterized severe associated with little or no discernible injury pathology, remain mystery. Furthermore, psychological physical stress pain, relationship poorly provides new conceptual framework to examine these problems. It output body-self activate perceptual, homeostatic, behavioral programs after injury, stress. Pain, then, network in brain rather than directly input inflammation, other pathology. neuromatrix, genetically determined modified experience, primary mechanism generates pattern produces pain. Its multiple influences, somatic only part, converge on neuromatrix.
