摘要: The lignocellulosic material is most prevalently used in the production of agro based activated carbons. These catalysts have been established as benign alternatives to heterogeneous alkaline and unrecyclable-homogeneous acid base catalyst considered a viable alternative since they eliminate usual difficulties related homogenous can be reused several times hence solved many problems. Biomass derived solid renewable source energy whereas homogeneous are non-renewable also contribute environmental degradation their synthesis process hazardous. thermal inertness, good mechanical stability properties make carbon-based acids ideal for reactions. Heterogeneous associated with high water tolerance, selectivity, activity properties. Sulfonated carbons promising acids. In coming future need demand more biodiesel expected increase, this encourages consider use non-edible oil seeds reliable sustainable feedstock biofuel production. This work aimed give an overview on potential cake waste catalyst. study reviewed current literature activities advantages
