摘要: Conversion of old underground workings into opencast mines leads to rock displacement, collapse partition, and slope failures some times. Continuous monitoring slopes partition is required maintain the stability over workings. Wireless sensor network more suitable method for continuous monitoring, it cost-effective, two-way communication, provides real-time analysis data. In this paper, development a low-cost Zigbee based Data Acquisition System (WDAQ) described. Field investigations were carried out in an coal mine south India assess strain deformation different thicknesses 4.12m, 5.91m, 6.86m, 7.91m, 10.21m 12.10m workings, due external load caused by movement Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM). Maximum 387 × 10−6 2.41 mm 4.12 m respectively. It can be observed that are decreased with increased thickness. This paper also describes validation data on WDAQ conventional as well numerical modeling. The obtained using close other two methods. variation around 5–19%.
