摘要: This study investigated familial and behavioral differences between Hispanic Anglo-American first-year college students. Analyses of variance chi-square analyses were used to test for ethnic in (a) risk factors associated with family dysfunction, addictions, personality factors, social experiences, (b) student problem behaviors, namely alcohol use, drug eating disorders, (c) a one-year follow-up retention, (d) specific related retention at the follow-up. The freshmen appeared demonstrate resilience despite lack mentoring greater paternal addiction. However, suggested that females particular leaving school. To improve rates, policy should focus on students' vulnerabilities strengths making important developmental transitions.
