摘要: Abstract Purpose Behcet disease (BD) is a chronic relapsing inflammatory disorder. Neuro BD (NBD) seen in approximately 5% of all patients. The aim this study to investigate the frequency, type and prognosis epileptic seizures different forms NBD. Methods All files 42 patients with NBD were evaluated between 2006 2012, retrospectively. demographic data, presentation NBD, clinical findings including seizures, EEG neuroimaging reviewed. Results mean age was 35.02±8.43 years. Thirty (71.4%) male; remaining 12 them female. Twenty-four had brainstem lesions; 16 cerebral venous thrombosis. Spinal cord involvement two Seven (six partial onset or without secondary generalization). Six sinus thrombosis (CVT). Four seizure as first symptom One patient late due infarct. other involvement. diagnosed epilepsy before determination Conclusion CVT seems be main risk factor for usually good especially CVT. Epileptic may an indicator poor prognosis. Superior sagittal cortical infarct would predictor occurrence because high ratio seizures.
