摘要: We present an investigation into the influence of carrier gas on thermodynamics governing a capillary chromatographic separation. Thermodynamic parameters are estimated for series alkanes and alcohols three common stationary phases using helium, hydrogen, nitrogen gases. It is shown that substitution gases one another results in change thermodynamic The effect large enough to compromise accuracy retention time calculations based collected other than actually use specific system. A possible kinetic explanation these observations also investigated.
