摘要: The objective of the “Geocarbone-Integrite” project (2005-2008) was to develop a methodology assess integrity caprock involved in geological storage CO2 . A specific work package (WP5) dedicated integration (1) phenomenology describing evolution system with focus on mechanisms occurring and at interface caprock, (2) data obtained from investigation petrographical, geomechanical, geochemical properties, before after reaction -rich solutions, performed other packages (WP1 WP4). This knowledge introduced numerical models safety scenarios were defined order performance system. The results modeling show that injection can potentially have significant effect by changing porosity due dissolution precipitation minerals, but impact is limited zone several decimeters meters close reservoir depending whether supercritical carbon dioxide (SC-CO2 ) plume enters into if fractures are present this location. The used be applied pilot site for Paris Basin. key aspect such facility will look coupling alteration geomechanical properties short medium terms (several hundreds years). challenge future structure apply assessment an operational finality, support robustness transition step CGS projects industrial scale.
