摘要: In this paper, we evaluate the distribution of commute trips in The Netherlands, to assess its transferability space and time. We used Dutch Travel Surveys from 1995 2004–2008 estimate empirical a spatial interaction model as function travel time distance. find that is not transferable space. Instead, propensity longer work has grown over As result, average length increased. Contrary, land use changes appeared have much smaller effect on commuting distances period. make also increases with city-size. However, does lead an increase distance city-size, because it offset by between residences jobs large cities. results are quite relevant for modeling. They indicate concept one stable insufficient accurately describe aggregated behavior.
