摘要: Purpose The purpose of this study was to compare the diagnostic performance SPECT/CT and MRI in patients with ankle foot pain, regard lesion types. Materials Methods Fifty consecutive who underwent 99mTc-MDP MRI, were retrospectively enrolled study. Symptomatic lesions determined based on clinical examination response treatment. On SPECT/CT, detected classified as bone, ligament/tendon, joint lesions. Uptake assessed using a 4-grade system. Sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value (PPV) negative (NPV) evaluated all each type. Diagnostic uptake grade analyzed receiver-operating characteristics (ROC) curve analysis, compared Chi-square or McNemar tests. Results In overall lesions, sensitivity, PPV NPV for symptomatic 93%, 56%, 91%, they 98%, 48%, 95% MRI. There no significant difference between However, specificity significantly higher than that (48% versus 24%, P = 0.016). (P < 0.001), its area under ROC analysis 0.787. In type, poor other types 0.001, respectively). exhibited lower bone 0.004) ligament/tendon 0.001). Conclusions SPECT/CT has MRI-comparable pain patients. exhibit different types. may be used complementary imaging method enhancing specificity.
