摘要: Most die failures are resulted from chemical reactions of dies and molten aluminum in the casting aluminum. The formation intermetallic phases between a steel is investigated by stationary immersion tests compared to real process. Three identified tests: composite layer two compact layers. mixture α bcc, Al, Si phases. bcc phase changes morphology rod-like spherical shape, while growth rate parabolic linear pattern with time. first forms rapidly after maintains relatively constant thickness. second 4 hours exhibits In comparison, only observed fresh high washes away easily.
