摘要: The encephalitogenic potential of rabies vaccines prepared from nervous tissue is a result the presence myelin basic protein. Vaccines duck embryos are economical and efficient, but, occasionally, cases allergic encephalomyelitis have been reported. An improved vaccine has developed that contains classical Pitman Moore strain virus grown in embryonated eggs. This highly purified enriched immunologically effective glycoprotein antigen. We searched for protein using sensitive radioimmunological immunoblotting techniques. Whereas embryo contained small amounts protein, vaccine, none could be detected.
