摘要: Abstract In this chapter, the author presents basic principles and behavioral aspects of reinforced concrete (RC) strengthening with textile-reinforced mortar (TRM); also reviews a number studies that have provided fundamental knowledge on use TRM as seismic retrofitting material RC structures. most cases, effectiveness systems is quantified through comparison equivalent fiber-reinforced polymer systems. The chapter covers: flexural beams two-way slabs; shear rectangular or T-sections using closed three-sided jackets, respectively; confinement axially loaded subjected to concentric compression; columns by improving plastic hinge behavior masonry infilled frames. demonstrates that, in all jacketing offers substantial increase mechanical performance, which strength and/or ductility calculations.
