摘要: The role of the kidney in drug and chemical disposition has traditionally focused on excretion polar xenobiotics metabolites. However, there is increasing evidence demonstrating that renal UGTs are integral to “local” intrarenal, and, possibly, systemic, metabolic clearance numerous drugs nondrug xenobiotics, as well maintenance homeostasis through limiting biological activity endogenous mediators control electrolyte balance blood flow. common involvement UGT1A9 UGT2B7 metabolism both exogenous compounds predicates significant drug-endobiotic interactions may explain, part, adverse effects some drugs.
