摘要: The Dybowski's frog (Rana dybowskii) is mainly distributed in northeast China and the Russian Far East. Its dried oviduct, or oil, has been used traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years. Frogs from different geographic regions exhibit variations their body mass oil productivity. As a result, farmers usually import high quality breeding stock areas to increase oviduct This practice could alter genetic structure populations. We 10 microsatellite loci investigate level variation populations context human-mediated disturbance. study comprised following: Hebei, Tieli, Jiamusi Lesser Khingan Mountains; Mudanjiang, Jilin, Jiaohe, Huadian north central Changbai Tonghua, Benxi, Xiuyan southern Mountains. Our results showed that 3 Mountain exhibited highly significant differentiation values (FST = 0.047–0.071, P < 0.001). In addition, Tonghua population differentiated significantly other 6 Mountains (P < 0.001). coefficient (FST) gene flow (Nem) estimates Benxi Jiaohe had degree similarity despite being geographically separated by mountains river systems. obtained similar Tieli Furthermore, between was greater than observed These therefore suggest Xiuyan, have undergone substantial intermixing because relocation. Economic demands make completely stopping geographical relocation virtually impossible. Consequently, effective management strategies are now priority ensure conservationists local economies can work together guarantee long-term survival this species. © 2013 Wildlife Society.
