摘要: We examine new self-employment entry and its viability in Bosnia Herzegovina, using a rich household survey for the years 2001–2004. find that wealthier households are more likely to engage viable create employment suggesting an important role financing constraints. Specifically, although having existing bank relationship is not significantly related decision, it positively survival entrepreneurs their creation. also non-linear between remittances individuals receiving enter self-employment; but, if they do receive them, likelihood of starting business increases fraction wealth received from domestic remittances. Finally, people working informal sector become entrepreneurs, particularly those provided with loans micro-credit organizations. These findings support perception as incubator formal early transition.
