摘要: Three very different methods of accomplishing the same task-managing operation transmission system in deregulated power operating environment-have been implemented as market structures have created around world. They are first, optimal flow (OPF) model found various implementations United Kingdom, parts States, and Australia New Zealand. Second, point tariff, price area congestion control used Nordpool Norway Sweden. Third, US transaction-based model. All pragmatic solutions advance complete theoretical understanding. Each has strengths flaws, there some surprising inter-relationships. maintains security but differs its impact on economics energy market. No clearly superior method so far emerged. In future, combining decentralized with operational use may provide better to existing emerging problems.
