摘要: Concentrations of Hg, total organic carbon (TOC), Al, Fe and Mn were determined in sediment the Amba Estuary between mouth head over a distance 24 km December May during 1997-2002. Temporal spatial changes metal concentrations appear to be due movement associated with tidal movements. The Hg concentration varies 0.05 -2.66 μg g range profiles its variation indicate Patalganga River that opens is major source anthropogenic estuary. Geoaccumulation index enrichment factor support contamination estuarine varying degree. not significantly correlated TOC, these sediments.
