摘要: Gold nanoparticles were assembled into three-dimensional aggregates in colloidal dispersions and attached to ZrO2 surfaces through photoinduced [4 + 4] cycloaddition reactions between adsorbed anthracene derivatives. Composite materials characterized by ultraviolet/visible/near-IR spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, scanning X-ray photoelectron time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry (ToF-SIMS). Aggregates of gold with diameters several micrometers formed within 45 min illumination at 355 nm 130 mW/cm2. Aggregation was attributed primarily interfacial photodimerization anthryl groups on different nanoparticles, although intramonolayer may also have occurred. 9-Anthracenethiolate-capped 2-anthroate-functionalized upon excitation π−π* transitions. ToF-SIMS data the results control experiments suggested...
