摘要: In this work, we present an event-based simulator for wireless networks using the Java programming language. Special focus has been placed on scalability and modularity of implementation. Indeed, new test-bed can support easily up to 10000 nodes; at same time different components interact with each other well-defined interfaces permitting separate independent modification. Even though be used any ad hoc network, have concentrated more energy-limited constrained sensor networks. The supported physical model includes use directional antennas, enabling switching antennas' lobe will finding direction arrival (DoA) signal. Two variants Aloha one CSMA are major MAC protocols implemented. At network layer, emphasis was given SPEED its enhancements. Finally, user is provided a configuration file set inputs, excel output holding all statistics simulation interactive GUI showing flow information across nodes. tested in terms speed memory demands, results our simulations were compared against those research groups.
