摘要: To see the relative tolerance of plant species, ten different species i.e. Ficus rumphii, Pongamia pinnata, Alstonia scholaris, Holoptelea integrifolia, Saraca indica, Pithecolobium dulcis, Cassia simea, Bauhinia variegata, Azadirachta indica and Grewelia robusta was taken from residential (SI), industrial (SII) commercial (SIII) area city as this florais very much common to Brass is planted on roadside. The quality air with respect SPM, SO2 NO2 has been also assessed respective sites its effect biochemical parameters leaves pH, total water content, chlorophyll ascorbic acid evaluate (air pollution index (APTI) various plants. It concluded that pinnata 15.8, dulcis 34.8, integrifolia 55.8 52.0 have high APTI value over control so these are considered tolerant tree rumphii 35.7, 30.5 34.3 slightlymoreAPTI moderately scholaris 21.5, simea 6.09 variegata 18.22 lessAPTI than control, sensitive respectively. One way ANOVA finds obtained values be highly significant (p < 0.001) at site. Thus present findings show allied industries prominent sources responsible for elevated level pollutants
