摘要: Objective To evaluate the presentation and prognosis of primary localized amyloidosis urinary bladder. Patients Methods The medical records 31 patients with bladder were reviewed. Immunohistochemical amyloid typing was performed on biopsy specimens from 27 patients. Results median age 22 men 9 women 55 years. Twenty-four (77%) presented gross hematuria (associated irritative tract symptoms in 6 patients), 7 (23%) had only lower symptoms. Multiple areas involved 20 (65%), a single area 8 (26%), diffuse involvement present 3 (10%). immunoglobulin light chain, transthyretin-related amyloid. Local recurrences common. None developed systemic amyloidosis. Conclusion Primary can be easily confused neoplasm. is important. Transthyretin-related requires no further work-up. Repeated work-ups for are unnecessary chainrelated Early eradication fulguration or laser therapy indicated. Cystoscopic follow-up necessary.
