摘要: Despite their perceived inaccessibility, the marine intertidal and benthic environments of Antarctica, southern Africa South America have continued to provide natural products for chemists with unique opportunities study secondary metabolite constituents chemical ecology a diverse array gastropod molluscs. This review covers literature up 31 January 2005 describes structures and, where applicable, biological activities 100 metabolites isolated from 21 species Not unexpectedly, chemistry chemically defended shell-less opisthobranchs dominates product studies molluscs collected these regions hemisphere.
