摘要: Chronic gastric ulcer being the most prevalent gastrointestinal disorder is considered a major cause of cancer. Large numbers synthetic drugs ranging from proton-pump inhibitors and H2 receptor antagonist to cytoprotective agents are available, but they have side effects. Inadequacy these forces develop new herbal-based active against chronic ulcer. In present study, antiulcer activity butanolic extract Argyreia speciosa Linn. f., Sweet: Family Convolvulaceae (b-ASL) was investigated acetic-acid-induced rat models. The effect different dose A. studied for antioxidant, anti-secretory, activities. Extract administration significantly increased PGE2 content. further experiments including in vitro metabolic stability vivo pharmacokinetics gave clear indication that (200 mg/kg) an orally safe contender agents. It can be important target studies under management system.
