摘要: Abstract Background Patients' values are everywhere and nowhere in nursing: frequently invoked associated with effective nursing care but seldom explicitly defined or subject to dedicated analysis. Clarification of the concept patients’ is pivotal because respecting supporting widely recognized as crucial for ethical care. Despite this pervasive employment term theories, approaches, clinical guidelines, remains ambiguous. Purpose We sought understand key elements by investigating its use theoretical empirical literature. Method This study used Rodgers’ evolutionary analysis approach. Findings found that core individual beliefs function hierarchical systems; however, context disease, priority assigned may change. important, given play a foundational role health-related decisions, such chronic diseases. Discussion Values influenced both intrinsic needs social context, importantly, involved guiding decision-making. The attributes vary according type decision at hand.
