摘要: Abstract A thick (29.2 cm), large area (18.2 cm dia) liquid scintillator (7.41 of NE224) neutron detector high efficiency has been developed for long flight path, time-of-flight studies. Photomultipliers view the from front and rear faces allowing a time compensation to eliminate thickness limitations on resolution. The is cylindrically symmetric designed detection neutrons traveling parallel its major axis. Such geometry allows be easily collimated shielded. simple method time-compensation, amenable analog electronic processing, developed.
