摘要: The effects of the epileptogenic agent, penicillin, on excitatory and inhibitory postsynaptic potentials (EPSPs IPSPs) were studied in hippocampal vitro slice preparation. actions penicillin compared to those bicuculline, an antagonist gamma-aminobutyric acid. Neither substance enhanced monosynaptic EPSP amplitude CA1 pyramidal cells, but both bicuculline depressed IPSPs. Large depolarizations that gave rise cellular bursting activity did develop after addition or bathing medium. There was also increase incidence fast prepotentials 'd-spikes.' These observations are interpreted according hypothesis block IPSPs, consequently allow remote intrinsic events invade cell soma trigger action potentials.
