摘要: : This paper describes patterns of tobacco, alcohol and other drug use among Aboriginal people aged 8 to 17 years in the town Albany, Western Australia. Of a total 110 young residing at time study, 105 were interviewed by two trained research assistants using interview schedules that included questions based on national guidelines for comparability studies people. The most commonly used drugs cannabis. Use substances was usually experimental. majority (57 per cent) this population had not any drugs, 13 cent made some and/or 15 polydrug users, frequent poly–drug users. increased with age: 48 those Tobacco consumption greater less than reported Australian secondary school children comparable age.
