摘要: If smart grids aim to contribute a more sustainable production, transportation and use of energy by design, its ‘selfmanagement’, ‘reliability’ ‘transmission’ need incorporate factors it has ignored so far. This book intends open window into that direction merging variety approaches grids. As such builds on the four-year experience interdisciplinary Groningen Energy Summer School, run University Globalisation Studies (GSG). School unites staff Ph.D. students from wide range academic disciplines in one programme: engineers, lawyers, chemists, sociologists, physicists, philosophers, economists, geographers, psychologists, political scientists, historians, geologists computer science experts. Over course two weeks, they try best each other’s expertise their own. The have present work: lawyer needs come grips with algorithms distribution systems, or an engineer understand how speech acts create social realities. as whole represents practice. individual chapters, however, reflect authors. Some them combine various disciplines, but true transdisciplinary exposure this is added value created sum parts.
