摘要: A new and user-friendly formula for the computation of total bed material load in alluvial channels under equilibrium transport conditions has been developed based on stream power concept diffusion theory. The advantages this include: high accuracy prediction, ease wide range application. sediment concentration is computed directly using variables flow depth, mean velocity, energy slope, median size sand density, water temperature. verification equation uses over 3500 published total-load data from flume studies, over-all results show that 84% are predicted within 0.5 2 times measured values. This an encouraging score considering large database covered.
