摘要: Five hundred members of the Obstetric Anaesthetists Association were surveyed regarding their technique for identification epidural space. Eighty-one per cent questionnaires returned completed. Fifty-nine respondents first learned a loss resistance to air technique, 33.4% saline and 7.4% another technique. Presently, 37.1% 52.7% use only or saline, respectively. Six both techniques 3.2% other techniques. Twenty-eight taught air, 57.2% 12.9% Twenty-three changed from 4.2% vice versa. Forty-seven those using felt that was not associated with clinically significant difference in incidence accidental dural puncture compared saline.
