摘要: Background The loss of a child is considered one the most stressful events in life parent. We hypothesized that parental bereavement increases risk hospital admission for psychiatric disorder, especially affective disorders. Methods studied cohort 1,082,503 persons identified from national registers Denmark who were born between 1952 and 1999 had at least under 18 years age during follow-up period, 1970 to 1999. Parents lost categorized as “bereaved” date death child.
