摘要: The kraft process is applied to wood chips for separation of lignin from the polysaccharides within lignocellulose pulp that will produce a high quality paper. Black liquor pulping waste generated by has potential downstream bioconversion. However, recalcitrant nature resources, its chemical derivatives constitute majority available organic carbon black liquor, and basic pH present challenges microbial biodegradation this material. Methods collection modification growth are aimed at utilization convert lignin, acids, polysaccharide degradation byproducts into valuable chemicals. extraction techniques presented provide reproducible method preparation substrates understanding metabolic capacities cultured microorganisms. Use gas chromatography-mass spectrometry enables identification quantification fermentation products resulting microorganisms on waste. These methods when used together can facilitate determination activity with would greater value system reduce effluent waste, thereby increasing paper milling profits offering additional uses liquor.
