摘要: The identification of certain organic compounds in drinking water has led treatment specialists to be increasingly concerned about the eventual risks such pollutants health consumers. Our experiments focused on role ozone and granular activated carbon removing mutagenic precursors that become toxic after chlorination. We found if a sufficient dose is applied, its use does not lead creation can even eliminate initial mutagenicity water. formation new seems induced by ozonation too weak, although these mutagens removed GAC filtration. Ozone used with one best means for eliminating contributing A combined also decreases chlorine consumption treated consequently reduces chlorinated compounds.
